There was for a while when you could link bookings in Tripcase, but that functionality seems to have gone due to the lack of an agreement between AA and Tripcase. Try the method in this post. It didn't work for me but other reported success.

Great suggestions. The AA twitter team was fast and confirmed I was listed.

You can see them on AA.com too. The only day this week with A1+ is Wednesday 4/26. A0 on Friday. LAX-SYD.

I'm on the 4/26 flight. Still waiting for Y>J SWU to clear. Yikes! I saw C availability open the morning of yesterday's flight. None opened for this evening's flight.

Search for the paid fare, and if there is a "Systemwide Upgrades" link, there is some availability. Look at 4/26 and you'll see a check mark on To First.

Y>J SWU for LAX-SYD cleared at noon today for tomorrow night's departure.

EF didn't alert me (!), happened to refresh and see C6. Called and cleared it. Would have cleared anyway probably.

Seat map showed 13 open J seats and 2 open F seats. MCE was full.

(side note: earlier in day, EF showed C7 but AA showed C0. Called a few times but all agents saw zero availability)

By any chance was your EF query that showed C (when the agents didn't see it) based on a connection - like ORD->LAX->SYD? I've had several occasions where I had the type of query stored in EF, and suddenly C opens on the second INTL segment, yet agents say it is C0. If I then query just the one segment, I also get C0. Once I asked a particularly helpful agent to try the connection query and they saw C7 then as well - but could not book it. Sorta like married segments in reverse. Anyway, just a thought.

MadisonGuy, that might have been the case. Thanks for the tip, had read that but forgot.

Btw, EF alerts finally came through 4 hours later. Now showing C0 but still 7 empty/unassigned seats.

1 Hr connection to SYD?

Checking flights to SYD from BOS. One flight from BOS has a 1 hour connection at LAX. How risky is the connection?

Way too risky. Only 1 flight to Sydney per day. I book a 3-4 hour layover going from PHX to LAX because it is not worth the risk of missing the flight.

I booked the earlier flight (3:14 pm I think)...I figured it would give me more time in the QF lounge

Another question: how does AA compare to QF LAX-SYD in coach?
