Other nuggets of info
SFO has two runway pairs:
10L/28R 11,870 ft 3,618 m Asphalt
10R/28L 11,381 3,469 Asphalt
and
1R/19L 8,650 2,637 Asphalt
1L/19R 7,650 2,332 Asphalt
These runways were designed and built with non-standard runway separation (centerlines of the parallel runways are only 750 feet / 230 m apart) Any time weather conditions affect SFO, ATC flow control is put into effect because only one runway of each runway pair can be used. This may mean delayed arrivals (and subsequent departures) as well as diversions (usually to SJC, but may include OAK).

Hi everyone. Just to clarify, if I'm arriving SFO terminal 2 and departing CX out of the international terminal, I have no other choice but to leave airside and clear security going into the international terminal? I don't mind walking.

Yes, you need to walk outside security from T2 to the “A” gates in the international terminal. You can walk airside between T2 and one part of T1, but from there you’ll need to leave airside and walk to the international terminal.

You can't walk through that way right now, due to construction. The only way to walk through is to make a right when leaving T2, toward T3 (landside) through the International Terminal (you'll enter on the "G" side) and then across it toward the "A" side. If you want to go the other way, you must take the Airtrain (landside). It is a 10 to 15 minute walk landside, and if you've never been through the Int'l terminal, there are museum exhibits, often very nice, near the security checkpoints on each side, as well as an actual library/museum, which is a replica of the original airport building.

I have an AS to AA connection, SEA-SFO(AS)-JFK(AA)-LHR(AA). I will confess I still am not sure I am reading this AS-AA table correctly, AA is telling me we need 75 minutes. AS3xx to AA16 are the flight numbers. I was hoping to take a connection that had 61 minutes but they will not allow it.

This is for AS to AA at SFO, not JFK.

What happened to the late afternoon SFO-ORD? I'm looking for the next couple of weeks and the 5-6 pm flight is missing from the options. The last flight is now 1:57 pm, unless you want to take a redeye.

Personally I've been taking Alaska's flight when I need a later departure out of SFO which for the summer schedule is a 6PM departure.

I've taken that flight in this block hundreds of times, and from what I understand it's been removed as a result of both MAX equipment shortages and that this flight has really only been serving pure O&D between SFO and ORD. It gets in too late to ORD for any same day connections, and so it's harder to fill up with profitable customers.
