Other nuggets of info
SFO has two runway pairs:
10L/28R 11,870 ft 3,618 m Asphalt
10R/28L 11,381 3,469 Asphalt
and
1R/19L 8,650 2,637 Asphalt
1L/19R 7,650 2,332 Asphalt
These runways were designed and built with non-standard runway separation (centerlines of the parallel runways are only 750 feet / 230 m apart) Any time weather conditions affect SFO, ATC flow control is put into effect because only one runway of each runway pair can be used. This may mean delayed arrivals (and subsequent departures) as well as diversions (usually to SJC, but may include OAK).

AA is still split between Terminal 2 and terminal 1. That said, terminal 1 is mostly used for LAX flights and ex US destinations (CLT, PHL, PHX), while terminal 2 is used for everything else.

T2 has an Admiral's Club and T1 has a Delta lounge. They're connected via an interior corridor just past the security checkpoint. You can't get to any other terminals once inside the secure area so that precludes the AMEX and Air France Priority Pass lounges if you're thinking of those, unless you want to go through an additional round of security to enter other terminals.

Are there plans for an Admirals Club in the new T1? With Alaska taking over T2 once T1 construction is complete, they'll also be taking over the AC and it's unclear from T1 construction documentation whether AA has a facility to put an AC into.

Yes, in T2, there is a fast track lane, a PreCheck lane, and a Clear lane. There is also an Admirals Club in T2.

I'd be concerned if they're going to let you into the international terminal at all without a same-day boarding pass. Same issue when they ask for your boarding pass at the Air France lounge.

In case anyone else is a crazy person, had no issues getting through security for G gates around 1030pm for a flight with a 540am departure from a different terminal.
However now that my friend is gone and I still have 2 hrs to kill before Admirals Club opens I知 questioning lots of life decisions.

I don’t remember if the other terminals have them as well.
