AA operates out of both Terminal 2 (ticket counters, baggage check and carousels, curbside check-in, TSA, Pre-Check, Clear, Admirals Club), and gates only at Terminal 1 (linked airside, no ticket counters).

Other nuggets of info
SFO has two runway pairs:
10L/28R 11,870 ft 3,618 m Asphalt
10R/28L 11,381 3,469 Asphalt
and
1R/19L 8,650 2,637 Asphalt
1L/19R 7,650 2,332 Asphalt

These runways were designed and built with non-standard runway separation (centerlines of the parallel runways are only 750 feet / 230 m apart) Any time weather conditions affect SFO, ATC flow control is put into effect because only one runway of each runway pair can be used. This may mean delayed arrivals (and subsequent departures) as well as diversions (usually to SJC, but may include OAK).

AA gates are so far away from… Uber pick ups

Arrived from JFK around 12am and it took me about 20-25 minutes to the parking lot…

On the other hand, AS terminal 2 D gates are my favorite in terms of convenience.

Seems like the strike has begun, can anyone comment on whether the AA lounge is still open w/ food? Or is it in fact impacted by the strike?

Is there an airside connection from T1 to the INTL terminal? Anything stopping you using the BA or JL lounge?

I consistently use the Air France lounge at SFO in International A from Terminal 1 - connected landside inside security. This is a Priority Pass lounge and consistently has champagne available. As a result I've not even seen the inside of the Admirals club since they moved over to T1.

Club at SFO is open with plenty of food options. It appears to be operating normally. I am here now.

+1 I just stopped by and took some pics, both in the club and various open/closed restaurants:

Landside means outside security. Do you mean airside?

In any case, there’s both an airside connector and a landside connector between Intl A and T1.

I land at 1255am on flagship business from jfk.

Connecting flight is at 7am on Alaska. Guessing it’s best to just chill in the terminal than to get to a hotel at that time. I will sleep on the planes.

will the admirals club still admit me at 430am (when they open) to take a shower? I land at 1255am so still same day right?

Any confirmed reports the showers are open in the sfo club? It’s listed on the website as an amenity

Yes they'll admit you. Not sure on the showers. Only been to the new AC in the early morning.

Showers are available. I saw two people request them last week while I was in the lounge.
