Los Angeles International Airport - Tom Bradley International Terminal oneworld Lounges
Location: Go airside via the North security check. Continue past the SkyTeam marked elevator / lift past the Star Alliance lounge signage and escalators to the main shops area and take the elevator to the oneworld Lounge on floor 5. (LAX / LAWA now allows passengers with same day departing boarding passes multi-terminal access.)

Open daily: 06:30 - 23:30[currently closed] QF F Lounge has REOPENED as of SEP 2022.

Another vote that the QF F lounge was wrong in denying entry to an EXP flying LAX-JFK. And it's so silly that they don't have reference cards or flowcharts to help guide them... they're suppose the memorize the rules.
However in re: LAX-BDL, this is where the confusion may be beneficial to the access-seeker, as the lounge attendant I spoke to (with the agreement of his colleague) stated unequivocally that any domestic flight over 5 hours would qualify, not just LAX-MIA/JFK. Big YMMV on that one.

AA EXP here flying LAX-JFK in J, happily eating lunch in the QF 1st lounge in TBIT. No onward international connection. Was let in without issue around 1pm.
Beats the T4 Admirals Club any day of the week!

It is worth a trip over to the QF F lounge. You can sit down and order food. But after you eat, the lounge is pretty stark, so you might want to head back to T4.
Walking the connector, the QF F lounge is right there on the same floor as you exit the connector hall way. You can miss the QF F lounge if you don't look to the immediate right after you enter TBIT elevator area. When I was there last week, they were working on the escalator which takes you down one level on the TBIT side, but to go the QF F lounge as you enter TBIT - don't go down - just continue straight to the left and then when you turn right QF F is there.
The menu is good, but somewhat limited. The wines are good and there is full bar. But maybe a 1.5 hours before your flight head back to AC/Flagship lounge (if EXP).
I am not aware of any arrival lounges in SYD. If SYD is your final destination just take train to the area of your hotel. Only 15-20 minutes from airport to Downtown by ferry boats, Opera House area.
If you are connecting on a domestic flight, you take the bus between terminals after getting luggage and dropping it off at the transfer drop point. They have showers, etc. in the QF domestic lounge/business lounge. As a J passenger you can use the business lounge side but the showers fill up on that side so maybe start in the regular QF Club side first then move over later to the business lounge section.

There is no arrivals lounge at Sydney Kingsford Smith. There are some showers available in the bathrooms, but I've not used them (nor am I likely to do that).

AA73 - Stay in in T4 or go to TBIT?
Here is the walk from T4 to TBIT I did on the 2nd day when the connector opened in LAX. Short 5 mins walk well & truly worth it. The QF First Class lounge has much better food offerings than T4 AA Flagship lounge. No there is no arrivals lounge entrance unless connecting to another One World flight in SYD. If you have to go to SYD T3 for Australian domestic flights
you will not be able to use the T1 International lounge.
