The Flagship lounge cookies are miles ahead of the DL Skyclub cookies I had yesterday

They are fresh-baked Otis Spunkmeyer! (same ones served on board) really delicious! Now I'm looking around online to see if I can buy the frozen dough as a consumer (since Otis S is a wholesale distributor for food service)

Perhaps you could pick-up some surplus AA sundae serving implements, Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and toppings to fully re-create the on-board service at dinner parties? ;) :D

You'll be happy to know that you can find your Otis fix at many grocery stores.

Sadly, there don't seem to be any I recognize in the metro NYC area offering the cookie dough. I guess it is hard to buy things online that need to be kept frozen until delivery. Costco would be easiest but it doesn't seem to be offered in this region.

I know you are speaking partly in jest, but if you do happen to know of a legitimate source for surplus AA servingware, please PM me. Thx.

Try the J galley about 4 hours into an overnight flight.

You could pick-up the following on eBay
AA Ice Mallet

Old school AA Coffee Mugs

Six inch blue stripe plates

Blue stripe bowl

CR Smith Commemorative plate

Four inch blue stripe plates

Plus many more on e-bay

ESpen36 Aug 2, 2011 7:36 pm

Thanks! Unfortunately, of those, only the ice mallets are still currently in service, AFAIK. The blue-ringed servingware is from Domestic F and very limited IFS (China flights only), but it was discontinued when the current (silver-ringed) servingware was introduced systemwide in all premium cabins around a year or 18 months ago. So, most of these listings wouldn't work for attempting to replicate current AA premium class on-board service.

Does AA have a FC lounge @ JFK?

Heading to EZE in F from JFK and was wondering if there is a FC lounge or if the only option is the AC. Also I have not flown AA FC in many years, is it still the old flagship suite with the blue leather seats and the small personal AVD screen?

Yes, there's a Flagship Lounge at JFK (it's pretty nice actually). It's connected to the first Admirals Club in Terminal 8.
