Phantom Schedule Changes
I'm new to the AA boards, so I'm not sure if such a thread exists (a forum search yielded results not similar to my issue).
I received an automated e-mail from AA notifying me of a schedule change for an upcoming 2-person itinerary LAX-LHR (on AA), LHR-CPH (on BA, with a BA flight number), CPH-DUS-LAX (on AB, with an AA flight number). I didn't see any flight number changes or time changes. I called AA and they came to the same conclusion I did after a few minutes of comparing the "new" ticket versus the "old" one. Just a reissued ticket and apparently no changes. Is this a typical issue at AA that's old hat? I now have a new ticket number as a result of the phantom schedule change. |
I got something similar just now too, for an upcoming flight in a week.
I would not worry - sometimes its a change by a minute of two, sometimes its a change of a flight number. If you look carefully you might just see one of these... :) |
I'm used to the one- or two-minute schedule changes (I was formerly with UA, who are notorious for these kinds of changes). The "new" itinerary is exactly the same, which is why it's so weird.
