Onboard Purchase Receipt takes 7 days to post?

Onboard Purchase Receipt takes 7 days to post?

I flew AA last Friday and purchased a meal on board. They said to go online to print my receipt. I tried to get it yesterday, but it was unable to find it. So, I emailed AA.

It can take up to a week for the information to be added to our website regarding inflight food purchases. If you have not already done so, please go back to the website to retrieve your receipt.
Anyone else find it strange that they can't upload a simple receipt quicker? I know this is a pretty big "nit pick", but I would think that if they can't upload a receipt in a day or two that they should just go back to printing receipts on board.
