Location: The Charlotte Douglas International Airport Admirals Club is in "Through security, between gates 3 and 5." (aa.com) This is a rebranded US Airways Club, which was closed July 2018 to 20 February 2019, refurbished and expabnded from a capacity of 68 to 104.

“The renovated lounge in Terminal B, which has been closed for the last seven months, is about 4,500 square feet and has seating for about 100 people. The older lounge at Terminal C is about 23,000 square feet and seats 452.”

“Beyond the design and furniture, Charlotte’s new club does have some features older clubs lack, including a freestyle Coke machine and a wine machine called a Cruvinet, which keeps wines fresh and at the appropriate temperature. CLT / Charlotte Douglas International Airport concourse B Admirals Club
(Located Between Gates 3 and 5)

There are two Admirals Clubs at Charlotte Douglas International Airport / CLT. They are both rebranded US Airways Clubs.

This was the smaller Club, but during renovation was expanded to hold just over 100 (previous capacity was 68).

Thanks! My husband is flying home from FRA on Saturday and has a couple of hours to kill at CLT before his GSO flight.

Thanks for the report. Does it have the "upgraded" food offerings like DFW A has? Or is it the spread you find at DFW C, CLT C/D, etc?

I was in the DFW A Club on 2/17 and there were no upgraded food options at ~4:00 pm...I hit the AA twitter team up...crickets.

There’s not really enough room for upgraded food offerings. But they have done a great job with the space available. Far more seating than before, lots of windows.

That's every day of the week at CLT. It's gotten to the point where if my layover is < 1.5 hours I won't even bother going in there.

This thread is now the thread to discuss the newly renovated, expanded (68 to just over 100) CLT Admirals Club between gates B3 and B5 in the B concourse.

From the pics on TPG, this design looks to be quite similar to the MCO club.

The reopening of the expanded and renovateded B concourse AC will help.

Well I was pretty impressed when I stopped in earlier this month. There's still not enough seating but the open and airy layout makes spending time there more pleasant.

I was hoping to see more seating also, so was a bit disappointed. It was quite crowded when I visited, and enough people were talking that it was unpleasantly loud (not that C/D club is any better).

Same here. Crowded, dirty and the staff couldn’t keep up with the food service. AA needs a 3rd D/E club.
