Booking multiple award tickets at same time with same account
Hi everyone,
I have been looking to use my miles to fly first class down to Ft. Myers, from St. Louis, in the summer. Booking four people at the same time, and getting the discounted 25K mile fare, is impossible. However, if I only have one passenger, more flight options appear. So my question is, is it possible to book four passengers on seperate itineraries all at the same time using the miles from one account without any errors leading to me only reserving one or two tickets? I apologize for any confusion, and I would be happy to clarify anything! Thanks. |

What "errors" are you referring to? Errors by aa.com, or errors by you? You can put an aa.com award reservation on a free hold for five days, if you wish. |

or look on Expert Flyer

Separate itineraries, or separate reservations for the same itinerary? You may certainly book the four of you on different flights (assuming award availability), and switch accordingly if availability opens up later. But however many seats available on a particular flight, that's how many seats there are; no way around that.

Sounds like it is showing first class saver awards available for 1 person but not for multiples. Finding (4) saver award tickets anywhere in first is going to be a stretch, especially if you are looking for direct flights.
As mentioned above, you can signup for an expert flyer account and type in your dates to see which/how many awards are available for specific flights and dates. Good luck. |

It appears that there are not four milesaaver awards available. If there is only one award seat available and you book it unless additional award availability is added you will not be able to make additional single award bookings. Have to tried booking for two or three to see how many milesaaver seats might be available for your preferred routing?

Errors by AA. I was thinking I could select "purchase" at the same time on four different devices in hopes of all going through. However, since there is only one discounted F fare, I worry one will go through and the rest will not. I will see about holding them though. I did not realize you could do that with reward tickets as well!
