Made it to 2MM Miles
After 20 years and countless flights I (finally) hit the 2MM lifetime milestone today on my HKG to SFO return via Cathay. Stoked about the 4 system wide upgrades! Thanks to all for your guidance over the years.

This thread seems a bit old. I'm not sure if anyone is still posting. I thought there was a different thread, but my search came up empty. Anyway...
After some bad math and being stuck 735 miles short of 1MM for 2 years (lack of flying), I finally got my card and bag tags this week. Doesn't seem all that special now, but at least I am lifetime. I'm still happy. Lots of BIS miles to get here.

I crossed 2 million lifetime over the weekend on JFK-LHR. I already show Plat on my account. Pretty happy with it. I have the same status, from 1MM BIS Miles on UA. On the flight over I was 4th on the upgrade list and they cleared 3. Probably would have gotten it if I was already 2MM. I’m especially happy about it because after many years as an EXP I’m slowing down my travel at least some so it’s nice to at least have the Plat.
I wonder if this “frees” me. I usually fly domestic paid first and try for upgrades on international flights. With Experflyer I do pretty well in that regard. I’m wondering if I should open things up to even include Delta on domestic flights. Basically which airline has the nicest cabins and best soft product and most convenient flight times.

I swear AA is messing with my head.
I recently flew BOS-NRT-SIN and back on an AA ticket on JAL metal - returning this past Sunday. The first three legs (including one on Sunday) posted in less than 24 hours from the flight. That's left me at 994,000 miles.
The last leg hasn't posted yet - what a tease. Is some gremlin doing this on purpose?
P.S. I went online to request the missing leg. It posted within 5 minutes and updated my lifetime miles to 1,000,429. 35K bonus miles posted overnight.

Not sure where it was geographically (somewhere between CMH and DFW), but I crossed the 1MM threshhold on Sunday. Not that lifetime gold is that big a deal, but still feels nice to have reached that milestone.

Crossed another threshold: 3 Million Miles
On Thursday, September 27, somewhere between Dallas DFW and Palm Beach PBI, I crossed my third million-miler threshold. Four additional SWUs were in my account today (Monday), and I am looking forward to my new Brag Tags. :-)

Probably somewhere over Colorado went over 2 million miles. Sad part is never had the credit card bonus and usually was just plat so no big bonus. About 2008 went to US air. BIS miles only. Have been about 45 weeks a year since. My guess is 250-300k as bonus on AA.
