What's the stupidest, least substantive thing you can complain about?

Thread founder Blumie had the following dedicatory post to kick off the original thread in June of 2010 to guide us, so we will take our cues from that to continue this hallowed FT-AA|A tradition. (FT Rules still apply.)

So I thought I'd start what I hope will become the one of the most valuable and important threads in the history of FT, one in which we consolidate all of our complaints about stuff that just doesn't matter and that validates AA's decision not to have an official presence on this board.

I'll go first: I find it really annoying the way the napkins are fanned before being put out at the Admirals Clubs. Is this supposed to make us feel like the place is uber-fancy? Why don't they just forget about the fanning and put out some real napkins instead of the flimsy cocktail napkins they use?

I hate it when the FAs giving the safety demonstrations aren't in sync with the narration - so when the seat belts are being explained, the FAs have already done the fasten-unfasten move and are starting to point out the exits. Burns me up.

Iceland Promo on AA.com

AA.com (in the US) is currently promoting the start of service to Reykjavik on June 7. This is a seasonal service from DFW that runs until Oct 27 (for final return flight).

The ad shows a picture of northern lights (Aurora Borealis), which are not visible at all from Iceland June, July and well into August. AA's seasonal service ends just as the darkest months start and the visibility of the northern lights becomes more viable. Very misleading advertising!

Snack boxes

The beef jerky is too sweet, and they took away the olives.

Oh, no! An airline with misleading advertising! Like the underwater “Caribbean” photos they use showing Indopacific fishes.

I do agree... this might be a possibility toward the end of the schedule, but hardly in summer.

I got two free bottles of Woodford Reserve in MCE the other day, but only one cup of ice.

I realize it's considered heresy by some, but I do like some ice.

And the thread title IS "What's the stupidest, least substantive thing you can complain about?" I think I captured the spirit of the thing.

I flew AA last Friday and again on Sunday. I don’t have miles from any of the flights.

I rented from Alamo last Saturday. I have AA miles from the rental car.

Seems like it should be the other way around.
