Notes about Giftcards.com:
- A separate thread exists for discussing Giftcards.com and likely has more data points than this generic thread.
- Purchases from giftcards.com earn miles on the first $2,000 spent in the named calendar month, meaning for example between March 1st and March 31st.
- Giftcards.com has had various limits over the years, and it was always by calendar month.
- Some data points show the $2,000 monthly limit is not always enforced.
- In 2022, larger orders track more slowly, and you may need to wait a full month to see miles.

Has anyone had recent success with Bonvoy reservations (made via AAdvantage eShopping) actually posting after the stay? Not a single one of my 5 reservations so far completed this year has posted, but they do seem to all be tracked under the Recent Store Visits tab (some with order numbers and dollar amounts, and some without).

I've noticed that the order # and amount show up in the Recent Store Visits by the next day after making the booking.

Buying $2k worth of virtual GC a month has its limits. Can't load to Apple Wallet (doesn't like Meta), don't have an android (but maybe need to get a cheap burner?) and my monthly online spend wouldn't be near that amount anyway. You can load to PayPal so liquidating this way is possible with a 2.9% + 0.30c fee.
I'm not a member of the Apple Cult, but have you tried downloading the Google Pay app onto the iPhone? It's in the iOS app store. I'd give the link, but I'm not allowed to. I don't see why that wouldn't work. Failing that, eBay has refurbed Google Pixel 3a phones for $65 and various Galaxies for $70. Those are legit, good phones to have for NFC.

It's the simple... but if you're buying $2k a month in VGCs then that's a lot of monthly Amazon spend.

Amazon Reload is by far the simplest liquidation method. In my opinion, might as well keep loading up the balance for as long as the 3x LP deal lasts, because it's not like my money is doing anything in a bank. Or crypto. Or the S&P.

Great -- looks like GC payment on iPhone is solved, as long as an actual transaction goes through. It worked because Apple Wallet and Google Pay are different payment systems. MetaBank follows Google's terms, but not Apple's.

I had a few calls with them about this, and they have no idea what is going on, nor do the people in the call center seem to care nor their supervisors (not shocked). Moving on...

There’s a new 5% off code at giftcards.com for the virtual visa. Code MMDVISA5 is listed on the aadvantage eshopping site.
