Miles usually post on Bask website on the second business day of the month, to AA a day or 2 later.
Check the "Rewards" section of your Bask dashboard or the Recent Activity section of your AA account.
Current earn rate as of June 2023: 2.5 miles/dollar/year, awarded monthly (no LP's).

To summarise from the linked thread, it seems that BankDirect has yet to confirm this in writing, or to elaborate on whether the expected cap (20,000 miles monthly) will be per bank account, per person or per AAdvantage account.

Do you mean the referral and direct deposit bonuses? I might be wrong, but I think you won't be able to get them again unless your details have been deleted from their system. Otherwise, people would be opening and closing accounts far too many times.

I have a question about this statement:
"Earn 100 miles per month for every $1000.00 of the collected balance in your Mileage Checking Account"
Let say it's the month of January and I have $10,000 in my account. My statement closes at the of the month. On January 10, I deposit $5,000, but withdraw it on January 20. For bonus purposes, does BankDirect see it as me having $10,000 or $15,000 that month? How about if I deposit the $5,000 on January 25 and withdraw in on February 5?

Average
The miles awarded are based on the daily average over the entire month.

Anyone experienced a hard pull on credit when opening a Bank Direct checking?
Hi,
I am considering opening a Bank Direct checking account for aa miles and was wondering if anyone experienced a hard pull on the credit report. I asked their associate, who said it would be a soft pull, but I wanted to verify with those of you who actually opened an account with them. I plan to apply for a mortage in the near future and would like to avoid a hard pull to keep my credit score as high as possible to ensure the best rate.
Thanks!

By most measures, no. It's an online bank with a mediocre website. It does automatically rebate other bank's ATM fees (I think up to $2.50 per?).
But the benefit of earning AA miles - in this low interest climate - makes it worth consideration. A $10K deposit earns 12K miles per year. If a mile is worth 2 cents to you, then that's like earning $240, or 2.4%, and that's tax free. That's tough to find anywhere else for an FDIC insured transactional account.
Of course, some here value miles at less than 2c, some at more, it all depends how you plan to redeem.
