Best coach seats on 738 ord-las and back
seatguru isn't all that helpful with this.
which seats are the best in coach for pitch and recline and fo anything else I haven't thought of?

exit row[s]....but seat is hard, at least on the 1's i've been on....good luck..i prefer the 2nd row...

You definately want the exit row. I did a last minute in Y last week to the left coast and while the news seats are a great improvement, the pitch on the new 738 seems much tighter than the older 738s. I am gonna miss the MDs!

exit row and bulkhead seats are the "good" seats on the 738, all other seats are the same. You can only reserve exit row if you're elite (or hope one is avail at checkin), and bulkhead are held for airport assignment.

Mrs. Ml and I flew ORD-LAS RT last week. 15AC- as 14A-F do not recline so the second row(15) is better. There seems to be more room than the MD next to the fuselage. We miss the MD 2-3 configuration. Of note, the power outlet is 3-prong 115 V-- no need for the cigarette plug adapter. Overall we welcome the new 737-800's.
