Am I going to make this connection??

I dont fly AA that often but on this trip I got a connection that seems pretty tight.

LIT-DFW

Eagle 3228 shows it SHOULD arrive in DFW @ 10:40AM

I connect with AA 539 thats scheduled to depart at 11:25AM

Am I going to make it?

Yes, if your first flight is ontime or close to it. (Assuming, of course, that you don't disappear into the bathroom to change a kid's diaper for 20 minutes during boarding.)

Assuming no delays on the inbound, and Skylink working as usual, no problem.

1. 45 min is almost definitely enough time at DFW. A little tight, but enough. (So I'm saying that you probably shouldn't stop for a bite to eat at TGIFridays.)

2. 539 is far from the last DFW-PHX flight that day.

Greetings, billinaz!

Please take a look at the FAQ at the top of the page, where there is an entry for this frequently asked question:

• Will I make my connection?

Well damn, look how they treat SINGLE parents with ALMOST potty trained children, and people trying to book trips into or out of WAS or NYC

I do look at those.... but Ive found the best source of info comes from someone who may fly that route.

My last connection on AA was pretty short, but of course it was

1.) all the way on the opposite side of the airport.

2.) oops, got there and the FA gave us the wrong gate and we had to RUN with kids in tow to get back to almost where we started.....

So I ask not out of ignorance, but in a qwest for the best advise... from those with experience.

One other reminder when you get to DFW--check the monitors for last-minute gate changes.

And that would be what has been given PLUS - after exiting the aircraft, find the cloest monitor to re-confirm the next gate. Do NOT trust boarding passes, FA announcements or even distracted GA's at the arival gate. And make SURE you board the Skylink in the correct direction for your next terminal - all will get you there, but can make a big differnece depending on term->term.

You will come into B.

You will leave out of A,C, or D. Skylink is your friend.

If you are travelling with kids, be aware that if they soil themselves, AA will not hold the flight, and since it is after 10 am, there will be no milk on the flight to PHX, so plan accordingly.

Since you are asking us to guess, I guess "No, you will not make that connection". If I'm right, do I get a prize?

I think you're being overly pessimistic. I'm going to guess "Probably, if the weather is good."
