Does anyone remember whether or not AA-coded codeshares are valid? I only used AA
metal last year but have a trip to HKG that I could use an AA coded CX flight for. |

For future reference (in case things change):

The era of passengers spending $1800-$3000 -- maybe even less out of pocket -- and becoming EXP seems to have entered the picture again in more ways than was the case in recent years. BTW how was the promo status update and status bonus handled in the past? If one crosses PLT w/DEQM will all following flights (even on the same itinerary) include PLT bonus? |

In light of DEQM chanp's suggestion in another thread of three LAX-BOS-ORD-DME-ORD-BOS-LAX will net you EXP, 100-150K RDM (depending on initial status) for $1600 or so if done thur-mon. There will be some extra costs on the ground though.

Just to clarify: did they retroactively credit status bonus miles for the flights after the qualifying segment? Thanks.
You will reach Plat for example, when the bonus EQM post 6-8 weeks after the promo period and are treated as Plat from then on, not at the theoretical point when you would have hit Plat if they had been posting the miles flight by flight. |
What if you signed up for a challenge and were using these flights to reach your challenge?

Cheers. |
Would you not reach Plat until after the 6 weeks in August or would it be based solely on points and this promotion means nothing?

Try to stay focused to the OP. Search/ask challenge questions in the appropriate sticky. |
Really sticks that it is for new reservations.

Hmmm, I read through most of the posts and maybe I missed it, but I'm surprised no one mentioned how many more EXPs we will see next year :)
