Elite Rewards

I know I can choose from a number of elite rewards based on 2008 travel. One of which for EXPs is a free admirals club membership for 2009. My question is that last year I had Admirals Club membership for both myself and my wife. I assume I can renew my membership with this elite reward, but what happens to the spouse? Can I pay a few extra thousand of miles for my wifes admirals club membership? Or a smaller amount of cash? Who do I follow up at AA with this? Just call the EXP desk?

An AC membership (value $300) vs 25K miles or 2 EVIPs?
The only way to know would be to call Admiral's Club, as that is who you would have to pay if you could add-on the spouse membership.
