hello everyone! i currently have a flight reservation on hold for the next 24 hours on american airlines. i was wondering if anyone knew of any coupon/promotion codes i can use. anything helps! i am flying labor day weekend from september 3rd thu the 7th from miami to las vegas. please if anyone has any coupon/promotion codes i can use i would greatly appreciate it! thank you and have a great day! 
if you know any way to apply a coupon code for the reservation, that is already on hold- please share your experience right here

Do take some time to familiarize yourself with the tools here - the American AAdvantage Wiki, linked to in the Unofficial Users' Guide sticky thread, is full of information, and the Guide itself has lots of links to threads of interest and tools.
There may be a few public codes available - but FlyerTalk prohibits posting unpublished or restricted codes, such as conference or special event codes. Any posted here would be deleted.
Earlier in this thread there is reference to the "Entertainment Book" and that will get you 5% off the base price.

To the OP: Welcome to FT. We hope you stick around, read, and learn the massive wealth of information on here. With a high frequency, we have posters that come here one time only for the sole purpose of requesting promo codes... to that end, a master thread was created and I suspect that this will soon be merged into it.
As well, the TOS specifically address coming here requesting proprietary codes. You'll want to re-read that (available in the FAQ: American Airlines and AAdvantage - Please check here first!)

Are you departing from DFW or MIA? There are free $25 and $30 off codes, respectively, available if doing a round-trip with either airport as start/end.
