Another E-VIP Question
I am about to fly my first AA flight ever, GSP-ITO. I was able to get upgraded using an evip on the DFW-HNL portion. However the first and third legs are on one class planes. My question is when I check in for the first flight will I be charged the baggage fee or will the charge be waived due to the evip? Same question returning when I board the HA flight. Thanks for any input. FTR I searched 'fee' on this forum and looked through ten pages of results and did not find an answer.

So actually not an eVIP question but rather a bag fee question. Nonetheless, you shouldn't have to pay the checked bag fee.
