Anything new on this greater tie up? especially as it relates to getting miles of BA transatlantic?....thanks

I did a search earlier in the week on AA, BA, and the DOT websites and couldn't find anything new. A general google search did not turn anything new up either.

No news on an enhanced relationship, but I think we do have a new leader in the "Vaguest Thread Title of the Year" contest. :rolleyes:

Plus if "we all" keep up "the pressure" I bet it gets done in under two weeks tops:)

BA and IB are spending all of their time trying to get a merger together, which is on the rocks due to BA's lower share price. BA and IB are now targeting mid 09 before the merger will be complete.

I doubt that AA and BA will get anything together before BA can get the IB merger complete...
