Changing credited program from AA to AS while using VIP
I already know that I will not requalify for EXP again this year. I do have a shot at renewing my Alaska MVPG status however. Can I switch out my AAdvantage number for my AS number while using my VIPs? If yes, when would be appropriate to do so; at the airport or say 24 hours out so my AA number still reflects in case of IROPS?

Has the eVIP cleared? If so, then I don't see any problem w/changing the FF #. If it hasn't cleared and you change the number I would assume you would drop to the bottom of the queue.

Yes, e-vips have cleared round trip.

I see no reason why it wouldn't be allowed since eVIPs (unlike 500-mile/complimentary upgrades) can be gifted to others. The only drawback of changing the FFP would be placement on the waitlist but since it's already cleared, you should have no problem.
