Five Star Service : Personalized Departure, Connection, or Arrival services available in major US airports and some international airports.

Departing passengers are met curbside, assisted through check-in, escorted through an expedited security lane (Usually PriorityAAccess), escorted to the AAdmirals Club, escorted to the gate, and then they can either pre-board or be the last one to board.

Connecting passengers are met at the arrivals gate. For International arrivals, passengers are Escort through Immigration and Customs, baggage claim, and Security. Then, they are escorted to the AAdmirals Club, escorted to the gate, and then they can either pre-board or be the last one to board.

Arriving passengers are are met at the arrivals gate. For International arrivals, passengers are Escort through Immigration and Customs, and baggage claim.

AA Five Star Service have stated that they are not allowed into the Customs/Immigration hall at MIA. Passengers will be escorted to the customs/immigration hall and met when they exit the customs/immigration hall when the Five Star service will continue.

Some passengers have reported that they have been escorted through the Diplomatic lane at DFW, ORD, JFK. At MIA, no fast track is provided.

- Five Star Service also include Pro-active Flight Monitoring and Priority Re-Accommodation during Delays.
- Golf Carts are used to Escort passengers through the terminal in most locations (usually not offered at JFK)

- Five Star Service is available to customers with confirmed and ticketed travel on the day of Five Star Service in either First or Business class on at least one segment of the customer's itinerary.

Hi, m0hammed! I can understand your mother's frustration, believe me. My husband and I fly in international premium cabins (mostly J; occasionally in F), and I use (my own) wheelchair. While it can be a bit frustrating to wait until the end to debark (and my husband is a fidgety creature, if truth be told), most major airports in the US have a separate line at immigration for wheelchair passengers. Thus, even though you may be among the last off the plane, you will probably still be among the first at baggage claim (if you have checked luggage), and should be on your way to the AC in short order.

BTW, I don't know if this is applicable in your case, but in case it is: if your mother is observant/religious, and prefers a female wheelchair pusher, she is certainly entitled to that, and you should make that preference known when you make your request, and quietly reiterate it upon debarkation (there will be several wheelchairs and wheelchair pushers there). I know (from personal experience) that older ladies can be shy about speaking up for themselves when their children are around, KWIM?

YQNow quote USD $600pp but were able to get approval through the airport authorities to meet QF7.

At this point we plan to disembark, head to the Carry E-Z line (would have considered the ESTA automated kiosk but one of our travel documents is new), reeler security in D terminal then take the train to Terminal A.

Depending on time will either hit the lounge or just head straight to the gate.

Friends have reported cleaning DFW immigration in 15 mins when QF7 arrives. If it's late we'll just deal with it.

Just to report back QF7 landed ahead of schedule. Went to Carry EZ line but the kiosks were all off. Several of us stood there asking the immigration officers would to do. He literally yelled at us to use the US Citizens kiosks but we said none of us were citizens. He yelled even louder shouting "Don't you speak English?"

We did as he said and were through in 5 mins. D Priority security was empty, took the air train, walked to the AC, had a 10 minute shower then went straight to the gate ten minutes prior to boarding.

So the lesson learnt is that 5* wasn't necessary and the anyone can use and Ekiosk if you're eligible.

Anyone know if Five Star Service will provide an airside connection (tarmac transfer) from Terminal 3 to Terminal 5 at O'Hare to meet a departing OneWorld Flight (Say BA or CX or RJ) These flights would be ticketed together (AA Domestic First Class to OW International Business). After the security line nightmare (and no Pre-Check) at ORD T-5 earlier this summer, I am strongly considering springing for Five Star Service to avoid the headache, but only if the Tarmac Transfer is an option.

Is there still the BA bus from T3 to T5? Either way, don't think they'd bring you over or v.v.

There is no AA Five Star tarmac transfer service (such as that at LAX) at ORD.

They will slip you in to TSA via the Flagship Check-in queue cut, however, based on my experience.

IIRC if you're ticketed in CX F, a CX staff person will walk you to security (and to the front of the line) if you so request.

I will most likely be flying AA F from LAX-ORD then RJ Biz ORD-AMM (on one ticket) With FSS I'd get flagship check-in at LAX, which is fine, but not worth the price for me. When I did this same ticket in May, I almost missed my flight with a 2.5 hour connection, due to security line at T5. Even the premium line was out the door.

1) You need to be in first or business class.
2) According to the terms & condition: Itineraries involving airlines other than American Airlines or American Eagle may be accepted if flight departs from or arrives at an American Airlines terminal, and full access is allowed by local authorities. Not sure where the BA flights land in MIA, and if AA staff can get there.
3) I don't think they can expedite you through passport control in MIA, so that diminishes the value received.

CLT connecting Intl to Domestic :
- no priority at customs / immigration, I had to make the regular line (customs was empty so that's fine)
- top priority at security (need to wait for a second person to escort me) but zero second wait.
- priority boarding : yes before F and between wheelchairs pax
- escort introduced me to the crew
- escort was nice and direct me to the quiet business area of the lounge and offered to bring me drink. He checked on me couple of times on the 2 hours I spent there.
-the only minor disappointment : I was waiting for the bag, I wanted to gave him my carry on while going to the bathroom and he suggested that I keep it with me for customs reason.
Overall a good experience especially useful in an unknown airport.

i see the Five Star Service is now available at BOS.

i am connecting at BOS from BA F, onto AA in F, but need to clear customs in BOS, and change terminal, likely from E to B.

Does anyone have experience of FFS at BOS?

We are flying during the holidays, so aircraft and airports likely very crowded, and have just 90 minutes to make the connection, though will only have carry ons.

Will FFS speed the process up? Will they meet us at the BA plane to get us quickly to immigration?

Will they speed up the terminal transfer (we are mobile, but can't walk as fast as the carts!)

if we miss our flight, am guessing later flights will be full already given the holiday season. what priority will we get for rebooking? will they look at other airlines? might we just get rebooked 2-3 days later?

worth it (to those that tried it on short connections)? i realise this is very subjective..
