Do you have global entry? Even if you do not, I think you'll probably be ok.

We have Global Entry. We do not usually connect through JFK and do not know what the distances are between international and domestic. If a cart is provided this may be a big help. Would appreciate any feedback about connection services in JFK.
Thanks.

LHR
I was connecting from CDG to LAX (BA to AA)
The escort was very kind
No car service from T5 to T3, we had to take the bus with the unwashed masses (me in a bus.... DYKWIM ....totaly unacceptable )
Escort told me that she checked with her manager and will have access to FL instead than the AC (I told her that I'm flying in F and she apologies, she was confused with the CDG-LHR in J)
I had the same luck last time traveling in Y so this is probably consistent to have FL access with FS at LHR
Escort allow me not to make the line to have a new BP as she already reprinted it (seems required at LHR)
Escort does not allow me to reduce the line at security (the line was extremely short anyway)
Walk to the gate one hour prior departure (was screened again, wonder why I'm often screened at LHR for flight to the US and almost never screened at CDG (still for flight to the US)
Boarded prior everyone else and ... 3 pax were already seated. (one was a uniformed pilot)
FS in LHR is not as usuful as MIA where you have immigration line that you can cut, a buggy transfer everywhere and a lower rate
But definitely a good experience

There is no clear separation between domestic and international for departures, but distances can be moderately long - aided in the terminal arms and underground connector by the use of people moving belts. As indicated in the wikipost at the top of the page, carts are generally not provided at JFK.

If one of your party has a mobility impairment, I'd call the number given and inquire.

Apologies if this has been previously answered.

Does FSS include Admirals Club access at any airport in the passenger's itinerary on the day of travel, or only the airport in which the FSS service was purchased for?

Example: If I purchase departure assistance for someone at DCA but they have a connection at DFW, can they also access the Admirals Club in DFW too?

I would like to experience the Five Star Service for either a 07:00 departure JFK-LAX or for the return flight at 23:30 LAX-JFK.

This is the first time I would be using the service and wondered which would be the better experience? I am travelling in J both ways.

For context, I would be landing at 10pm from LHR the day before the first flight but going into the city to meet some friends, so this would be a departure service rather than transfer. For the return I would be coming from a week in LA so could be at the airport at any time before my 23:30 flight.

It's documented in the wikipost at the top of the page. A passenger with FSS receives a one day pass to Admirals Clubs, usable the entire day.

This practice seems to have changed. As added in the wikipost today (from a confirmatory receipt):

Flagship Check-In Access

As a Five Star Service customer, you have access to our Flagship
Check-In at participating airports. This exclusive and personalized
check-in service, along with your Five Star Service representative,
will help expedite your travel experience. For more information, visit
aa.com/flagshipcheckin.

Admirals Club Access

Admirals Club access is included with the purchase of Five Star
Service only at the airport where Five Star Service is bought.

User note: through flights (connecting flights using the same flight number, e.g. AA111 FCO-ORD on a 772 to AA111 ORD-LAX on a 738) pose special challenges and may require assistance from the FSS Help Desk and more telephone time.
The user note is not part of the FSS communication; it is based on a user's experience.

Using FSS at LHR will require 20% VAT to be collected in addition to the required service fees.

I am not trying to be difficult, but I just went to the AA page on Five Star Service and nowhere on that page does it say that Admiral's Club access is limited to the Airport where the service is bought. I bought this service about a month ago for an upcoming trip in August and that was one of the factors that played into my decision. The representative I spoke with assured me that I would be able to use the AC for the entire day and it says so on the receipt.

Admirals Club access is included with the purchase of Five Star Service only at the airport where Five Star Service is bought.
This doesn't make sense. What if you buy Five Star service at your home airport in order to use it at a an airport on your next trip with which you are not familiar or otherwise anticipate that you might want some additional assistance? While I'm not one to doubt Seńor Diver, something seems amiss here.

I'm considering FSS for my relative for NRT-ORD-LAX in August with a 2.5hr connection at ORD. Does FSS provide car transportation between terminal 5 and 3? Or do they still have to use the airtrain? Does FSS provide fast lane CBP for non US citizen?

I was "escorted" in the regular tran.
The buggy was used within the AA terminal. (terminal 3 ?,)

I remember making some customs lanes the few times I tried 5S at ORD. believe it was the regular one (not diplomatic nor crew).
The more I think about it the more I believe that I always made the regular lane at ORD.

Is there still a completely separate channel for pax with carry one only ? This one is better than 5S and is free

So the FSS at ORD for International-domestic is like: greeting at the gate -> escort through immigration (what does the agent do when you're in line waiting for CBP officer?) -> collect bags -> go with you to AA terminal -> flagship check in -> "priority" screening -> cart to lounge -> cart to gate?

Kind of :
There is no check in just to drop your bags.
Buggy is not always available
If you wait at the regular lane, you're one your own (escort is probably playing on her phone
If you're at the diplomatic lane he/she'll wait with you as this is short
