Talk about spoiled. Must have been nice having that much money in college. We had the bottles of Jim Beam with the handle on the side.

Personally, I'll be disappointed to see Crown go bye-bye. People used to ask me why I flew American, and I told them because I didn't like Crown and Pepsi.

Whenever I hear or see anyone order a Crown and Coke, I do think of a good whiskey spoiled. YMMV.

I do hope that this is April Fools' joke.

I'm in college...I have to say, here in California, there's more of a Corona and Tequila vibe (Jose Cuervo, of course...Patron is a little beyond the average student budget. Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind it if they served tequila on flights...)

Must have been nice...my college days were filled with top shelf brands like Passport scotch, Popov vodka, and whatever they gave you in the LAS casinos (back in the day when just standing by a table or machine rated service by the cocktail waitress).

Then we would splurge for a pint of peppermint schnapps to smuggle into the $5 concert (by Journey, Yes, ELO, or some other name band) because the girls just LOVED that stuff.

It was quite a regression from my high school days of slipping into the old man's stash; yes, he lived on Crown!

Oh, BTW, I hope you weren't one of THOSE who put coca cola into your CR!

Yall must have been rich kids. The only way I could get Crown Royal was to rob the liquer store. Fighting Cock was the best I could afford and maybe Black Velvet on a very special occasion.

Not a downgrade (at least cost wise)!! They both retail (at least in California) for $18 + bevy of taxes.

They'd have to add some additional equipment too...

"I'll have mine frozen with salt, please..."

I can't remember anything from the time I drank a bottle of MD20/20.

Complete blackout.
