I hadn't thought that it would be helpful but sure, why not.

I hope I wasn't ranting.

Bring back MSY-LGA. B6 ran them out of the market a few years ago.

That'd be nice (or SIN). Don't really see it happening.

For BKK or SIN, ideally both, I'd be happy to see any one (or one each) of the NRT flights (preferably a non-JFK one) as continuing "direct" service on AA metal rather than having to continue on a JL codeshare.

CLE-MIA

Ridiculious not to even have any service in the winter. When EA had the MIA hub, which was much smaller then AA, we had a MIA flight and UA had flights to with their hub.

I don't think AA can do that because they lack fifth freedom rights at NRT unlike UA (which got it from PanAm) and DL (which got it from NW).

I find it interesting on how both DL and UA have been able to establish hubs at NRT. From there, they have flights to other Asian destinations.

United purchased them from Pan-Am and Delta inherited them from Northwest. Pan-Am and NWA acquired them post-WWII; they were the only two US carriers to be given fifth freedom rights from Japan.

There's not much left of UA's hub at NRT.

Would love to see:

JFK-CPT, JNB, CAI, or any other major African destination
JFK-BKK, ICN or any other Asian destination (besides NRT or HND)
JFK-AMS, IST,ATH, DXB, TLV

[If I had to pick just one, JFK-CPT)

Local regional routes that AA used to have & new additions:

ex-JFK:
JFK-PHX
JFK-DEN
JFK-BDL
JFK-PWM
JFK-BTV
JFK-BUF/ROC/SYR
JFK-PHL
JFK-PVD
JFK-SLC
JFK-MHT
JFK-PDX
JFK-YVR

AA lacks in New England (they once had flights to PVD, PWM, JFK-BDL, etc), while other airlines have not cut their flights. Why not remain competitive and shut these customers out? These routes cannot be so unprofitable that almost every other major airline has service into these airports. Easy connection into JFK for Europe flights etc

ex-LGA:
LGA-MSY
LGA-MEM
LGA-MKE

ex-ORD:
bring back ORD-DLH & ORD-PDX & ORD-ALB
