Question about upgrading w/ miles...
Sorry I'm kinda a rookie but, how many miles does it take to upgrade to 1st using AA miles on a Coach ticket?

Which applies in your case can be found by reading the upgrade info at AA.COM and looking at your booking class. Of course, it also depends on whether you want to upgrade in one direction or both. It also depends on availibility. Of course, if you wait to long, you have to pay the "last minute" fee.

However, most people on this board (myself included) will tell you that for DFW-LGA it really isn't worth it.
