I reached 3MM on January 4 (yes, I purposefully delayed until the New Year -- thank you, FlyerTalk!), and received this email on January 16:
"Congratulations on reaching the next Million Miler level!
As the millions add up, there are fewer members who earn this special designation. In just a few weeks you'll receive a new elite membership card that acknowledges your multi-Million Miler status - plus some other gifts we think you'll enjoy. We are gratified by your dedication and confidence in us. Thanks for your commitment to American Airlines and the AAdvantage program."

So, I crossed 1MM last week of Jan. I received an email from AA on Feb 7 with the subject "Congratulations On Your AAdvantage Program Achievement". The email was a standard email for awarding AAdvantage Gold Status. Can I assume that this email I received was for 1MM Lifetime Gold Status even though, it does not say so?
If yes, when can I expect to receive the upgrades/kit? Can someone who is more knowledgable clarify it? TIA.

The email was a standard email for awarding AAdvantage Gold Status. I know that I have not qualified for Gold yet based on my flown miles. Can I assume that this email I received was for 1MM Lifetime Gold Status even though, it does not say so?
If yes, when can I expect to receive the upgrades/kit? BTW, my official address is outside US. The summary under my account does not list any 500-milers or eVIPs. So I am really confused as to what exactly is going on. Can someone who is more knowledgable clarify it? TIA.
