Buying 500 mile updade sticker at AA.com
First time I have tried this exercise but it is not working. I go through the entire menu, input everything correctly, but...ultimately it says the system is "temporarily unavailable" and to call AA.
But I can't call right now since DFW is closed and all the reps are busy!
What am I doing wrong?

Chances are they're having computer problems - and since the weather is dreadful in both ORD & DFW, the phone lines are jammed w/people trying to re-book, etc...
Best advice - wait for another day to buy the sticker. If you need it today for an upgrade, then get it at the airport, it only costs another $5 or so and will save you further frustration.

The 'wrong" thing is waiting until the last minute to do anything at aa.com, if that is that case. Otherwise, just try back later.a
IMHO, "last minute" at AA.COM, would include even the day before.
