2. Look at the OPs other posts and obcession with upgrades.
When you get to EXP .. I guess one more mid-con upgrade aint going to bother me much either way ... convenience first.. miles/segments second.

Thanks for the suggestions. As it turns out, its a moot point. I never realized that upgrade awards allowed for a stopover. My return to LA from NY goes: LGA-MSN (stopover)-LAX. Since there is a stopover allowed, my upgrade for the long segment, ORD-LAX on the 763, allows for me to upgrade the entire flight. Oh, and I managed to get a C seat LAX-JFK, EF REEEEEEEEALLLLY saved my butt on that one .

Not that it matters, but the correct answer is EWR.

I agree...EWR EWR EWR!
I consistantly have the best luck from Newark...most loyal flyers are probably on CO
The last several flights EWRORD have not even been full in F on AA!

Well, that could potentially suck for my brother, who will by flying LGA-ORD with me. And if the stickers don't clear, well, he's not that used to sitting in F yet, he'll live. Me on the other hand. . .

My son & I flew ORD-EWR last month on a Friday and a Sunday & we the upgrade alert came right at th 72 hour mark (We're both AA PLT). I must say it was pretty empty in F.
