This shows you that Healthy Choice was indeed, man enough to stick to their end of their deal even though their plan might've backfired at the time.

While it is impossible to know what is written in a contract one cannot read, it is indeed possible to determine that the bargaining position of AA is quite greater than that of Emmi.

Even in the credit card arena, only the participants know how the Citicards-AA negotiations played out and those were two 800 lb. gorillas in the same cage.

i am still confused on two points:

1) what does the december 1 date have to do AAnything? an unsuspecting customer buying cheese AND miles at their local grocer won't see the change in terms on the package.

2) why can't they just buy more miles from AAmericAAn AAdvAAntAAge? is their rAAtionAAle that they ran out of miles? well, buy more, no?

(i have no skin in the game because i could never find any wheels with the promotion.)

i realize that. but, what if a customer purchases a wheel today with the sticker and expects to receive 500 miles. they probably have no idea of the new date. unless emmi can correct the packaging, i don't see how they cannot honor the promotion.

by the way, i am hoping that if this turns out for the best we can start a thread with cheese jokes. do you think there are enough witty partipants (i.e., can we "cut" it?)?

The Terms and Conditions for this Promotion state as follows.

Offer ends 10/1/2007 or while supplies last, whichever comes sooner.Offer good only in the U.S..Must be 18 years of age or over.

Question? What do they mean by supplies, the number of packages of cheese with AA coupons or the number of miles that were allocated to support this so called promotion ?.

Didn't realize that one had to be 18 years old to buy cheese and submit coupons!!!.

THis Company is deep trouble and I don"t know if the Swiss parent is aware of just how much,Perhaps they should be refered to these post on FlyerTalk.

Relax for a moment.

There is no "answer." There can be, however, professional opinions as to what the terms mean.

My professional opinion of the phrase "while supplies last" is that it can only be REASONABLY interpreted as meaning while the supplies of specially-marked cheese packages last in the interstate commerce chain.

If necessary, I would be prepared to see if a court agrees with me.

Please, folks. Let's not fight with each other! Stay focused. Your beef is with Emmi, not with your fellow FT member
