Not yet. I am going over to the Food Emporium on 32 and 3rd tomorrow looking. If you find them let me know. I only need 10.

I've been to the one in Union Square. Nothing. I also checked out the food emporium and Trader Joes in/around union square as well as food emporiums and gristedes on the upper east side and came up empty. Lot's of laughing cows though.

50%

Two wheels purchased. One coupon found.

$5.39 Vons in San Diego. Which Vons? Tierrasanta, of course.

50 wheels for $269.50 and 25K miles is not a bad deal. With 50% of the wheels having no coupon, the cost for a free round trip goes to $539. Not so good, but the cheese is ok... Do I need to factor in the cost of the Triscuits?

Given post #149 in this thread, I don't see why people still insist on checking Whole Foods for the cheese wheels.

It's an East Coast, West Coast thing.

NYers get 2 coupons (18% of the time), CA residents get none half the time.

Either discrimination or a bad lot made it to the west coast.

People considering wholesale purchases need to think about ordering from the East Coast, IMHO.

Ok, scoured a bunch more stores, no luck in Tucson Safeways, Fry's, or Basha's. 2/2 Albertson's had the wrong ones for $4. I'm not sure if they are worth that much, though it would still only be $200 per r/t so maybe I will.

I got a quote for $3.50 per cheese wheel (and they have the promo).

The pickup place is in Palo Alto, CA (south bay area). If anyone needs any, please let me know so that I can get the order in (payment okay at time of sale).

This is the best price I have seen on the west coast, and it isn't worth it to pay $1000 in shipping charges to ship the cheese over here from the east coast for similar cheese wheel price each.

Why not contact Emmi and see if they'll make good on their offer?

Do you really think the store will take back the opened boxes of cheese wheels if you say you didn't find a cert inside? They would be foolish to do it because many unscrupulous folk would just open the boxes, take out the papers, and then return the cheese. Personally, I am trying to still decide if I should return my 22 UNOPENED boxes that are bekoning me every night to open them to see if there is actually a certificate inside....

when you buy cheese that promises certificates, you buy:

1) cheese and
2) certificates.

if there aren't certificates, you can return the items. if the store won't take the items back, you can dispute the charge on your credit cAArd stAAtement.

AAm i missing something?

Agreed. Most respectable stores will take it back. Long ago I used to buy D* setups from Wal-Mart, and one I got someone had stolen the card. I brought it back and after talking to a manager they took it back.

I repeat my previous question:

If you buy the cheese, open the package and find there is no AA certificate, why not call Emmi?

Isn't what you really want not a refund but the miles?

It would be most interesting to hear the company's response.
