Currently, I have a AA Citi AAdvantage Platininum World MasterCard that I got in April 2006.

I want to apply for the CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® MasterCard® and get the 20,000 bonus miles after $250 in purchases (I realize that another 5,000 miles is available after one year)

Can I get the 20,000 mile bonus for the CitiBusiness card?
Yes. Business and consumer card combo sign-ups work for pretty much all mileage programs.

The link you have posted would appear to be expired - note the date in the T&C :
1) 20,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® miles will appear as a bonus in your AAdvantage® account 8-10 weeks after purchases totaling $250 or more post to your account. This offer is only valid for new Citi® / AAdvantage® accounts applied for by November 30, 2006 through this offer, and excludes any other Citi® / AAdvantage® credit cards offered.

I would use the following link:
http://citi.bridgetrack.com/USC/07/m...9A558F605BC133

This expires on June 30, gets you the 20,000 miles after a $250 spend - note the current link on the AA site now needs $750 spend, so best to use the link above

You are right in majority of cases. Need other cards for those who carry balances.

Best Current Citi CC Offer-20k or 25?

I want to get a Citi AA MC or Visa and I've done a bit of research here on FT and elsewhere.

The link to the 20k at sign-up plus 5K on renewal is still alive but the terms and conditions say the application must be received by Nov. 30, 2006. Has anyone had recent luck in still using this promo and getting the 25K?

Assuming the 25K promo doesn't work, it looks like the best current offer is 20K plus a $50 cert and a free companion cert. Is this the best current offer all the AA experts here on FT know of?

Thanks for your help.

25000 CitiBusiness Visa through the mail

I received the 25,000 CitiBusiness/AAdvantage Visa offer in the mail yesterday.

25K after $250 purchases, no fee for 1 year, then $50, high rate 18.24 variable.
2X miles on AA purchases, no fee for additional employee cards

Only for new Citibusiness accounts. (expires 8/15/07)

I can't find a promo number, but they give a toll free 1-866-409-2284

I called on this and they asked for the small # above my name on the address area(of course I didnt have it as I got the # from here) Well I bluffed my way thru it, but will see if they issue me a card. The CSR said they would have to make a determination on my "projected" earnings as I was starting a new business and had not been solicited for this card directly, to which I replied"of course I was thats how I got the phone #" well, we will see.If anyone has the small # above their address on this offer, and posts it up, it might make it smoother for the next person^
