AA reward question tlv-mnl
according to the AA website a reward flight from the middle east to asia 2 (philippines) is only 45K ! is this really true or is there some hidden thing there? if so can i do a ba flight to lhr from tlv and then CX from lhr-mnl? thnks

This is true, but the routing will be determined by AAdvantage. I believe that connecting through Europe may not be allowed, but I am not sure. You'll probably be forced to route on El Al to HKG then CX to MNL.

if i do the route (which is fine) is it one ticket? my question is does that mean when i get to hkg do i have to recollect my bags and get a new boarding pass, or is my cx boarding pass issued in tlv?

They should do be able to do it as one ticket (though it may be paper). I would guess that your bags should be interlined through to MNL but someone with more experience on this would be able to give a more definitive answer.

is there any way to make this into a multi segment award going tlv-mnl-nyc? if so what would the mileage requerired be?

i tried that however i dont have enough miles. no problem though a RT ticket is fine.
