I haven't noticed this before... are certian buckets coach and others economy? I thought that they were the same, just different marketing words between different airlines.

Flight 830 continues on to SEA and is therefore in effect a transcon and the cargo cabin is labeled economy.
Flight 1333 runs only BOS-DFW - a midcon - so the back is called coach.

But as said before, dont expect anything different!

Ah, that must be it then. Although I assume you mean 830 goes SEA-DFW-BOS, since an M83 doesn't have range to go BOS-SEA. I wasn't expecting anything different in service - i realize that the terms are interchangable - I was just wondering what made them pick one over the other. I won't be sitting back there anyway...

It's also interesting that the person that posted this myth is (my guess) an AA employee (AE pilot?). Sounds like s/he's fallen victim to Union propaganda. Amazing how easily people get intellectually [email protected] by the socialist thought police.

Yep...airlines are backing up the Brink's truck to the planes as they pull into the gates...fares as low as $9 (Spirit Airlines-last minute FLL-KIN) to JetBlue's $99 one way fare from FLL to LGB or OAK and BOS-SJC (non-refundable, 7 day advance purchase through May 24.) BA has this offer: r/t airfare, and 3 nights hotel for $398. That isn't union propaganda, or the socialist thought police--that is an e-mail I received yesterday from a travel company.

Why do you think what AEpilot76 posted was a myth? Maybe you were referring to the days of $39 transcon fares and see a $99 fare as extravagant?
