Maybe Starpoints really are better than AAdvantage miles
Not only do they have a great conversion rate, but they have that same great rate for all OW carriers, it seems. Helpful if doing upgrades. Only question to me is whether you can upgrade on BA or CX with miles but still credit the flight to AA. If you can, seems like it might be time to get the Starwood Amex.
