Fares up on the DFW/DAL/STL routes... and probably others as well...
So last week when AA came out with their fly 3 and get one free promo "we" were looking at some MR's.
Checking on the fares today and see that they have gone from $114 all in to $134. (STL/DAL) and $118 to $138 (STL/DFW)
So much for waiting for cheaper fares...

The fares seem to be holding constant on the other routes (such as DFW-AUS and DFW-SAT).

Are you sure you don't mean WN's recent fare hike? WN = Southwest, NW = Northwest.

Planes can't be empty until planes start flying. Be patient.

Looks like they may be changing their stance on DFW/DAL being interchangable, as previously reported. $98 before tax is still all over the place for MCI-DAL, but MCI-DFW is $118 pre tax, and fare rules on DAL now say this. The DFW fares show the inverse.
THE FARE COMPONENT MUST NOT INCLUDE TRAVEL FROM/TO/VIA DFW AIRPORT. AND THE FARE COMPONENT MUST INCLUDE TRAVEL FROM/TO/VIA DAL AIRPORT

WN's current sale is "Purchase through February 6, 2006, midnight Pacific Time", so look for AA's fares to go back up after that.

I still think $98+ will be available to alert shoppers for April-May before we get to April-May, and we may even see $68+ on these fares before we are done. WN and AA both seem serious about this.
