Flew F EZE-JFK and was not impressed with the food (save for a somewhat tasty Tomato Provencal side and a sundae with dulce de leche topping).
I was also surprised when I requested a second water bottle and the FA refused saying there was no more left on the flight (this was less than 2 hours into the flight). I think its pretty ludicrous AA only loads 1 bottle of water per F passenger on a 10+ hour flight. Overall, not so impressed AA's international offers, but the lie-flat bed was really spacious, even for me at 6'7".
Full trip report with pics of food and menus here
My meal:
1) Warm nuts or marinated cheese
2) Smoked salmon and shrimp appetizer
3) Pea soup
4) Beef (Cheateubriand), garlic shrimp or paprika chicken entrees with a choice of either salad or vegetables (tomato Provencal, creamed spinach and potatoes).
5) Dessert: ice cream sundae, cheese plate or fruit salad with Grand Marnier glaze

I believe they do only cater 1 bottle of water per passenger in F and in J. They still have the big bottles of water they use if passengers just ask for a glass of water - just not any more of the "small"/individual bottles. I've always just taken my empty to the galley and had the FAs "top off" my bottle via the big bottle.

Also, main course was beef fillet and gnocchi with truffle cream sauce. The beef was alright, but the gnocchi was (were?) awesome!

Recently had a wonderful Chicken Risotto back in Y on a MAD-DFW flight. Wife was sleeping and not interested in the food. When she awoke, she tired quickly of my raving about the food. The food almost (but not quite) made up for the fact that I couldn't even watch the movie in either transatlantic crossing due to broken headphone ports.

Same menu on last night's JFK-MAD. I had the chooza tikka masala which was pretty good. I was given a cheese plate as my appetizer instead of the salmon and shrimp appetizer, but that was fine with me and I didn't question it.

Exactly the same as above for CDG-ORD, except the final dessert after the light meal was a choice of fruit cup or chocolate chocolate chunk cookie (or both, I heard the FA concede to the guy next to me).
The scallops on our menu were in a lime sauce. The beef and gnocchi were ok, beef very well cooked, but I found the gnocchi dry.

Will be posting pictures later, flying off to BCN via LHR on AA 100 today, funny thing on the JFK-BCN flight, breakfast didn't include an Omelet, I thought that TATL in J always had omelets...

For the love of god, AA, please change the shrimp and salmon appetizer. How long have we had it?! And it's the same one on both the outbound and return legs. Let's get a little more creative.
