connection time at DFW
Hello all. I have found yet another mileage run for a cheap price. It is as follows: DEN-LAX-SFO-DFW-DCA-DFW-SFO-DFW-DEN. All this for $300.
I have a lot of connections in DFW for a few hours. But I have a one hour connection in DFW and I need to change terminals. I will get into DFW at 7:49 PM and the next flight leaves at 8:50PM, and I need to change terminals. Do you think this is long enough? I want to make sure before I purchase the reservation.
I also have a 40 connection in LAX but I do not have to change terminals. This will be fine, right?
Thanks for the help.
p.s.- I went to http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...connection+DFW for reference, but I just want to make sure that the connection times are fine in practice

Let me look into my crystal ball - not!
DEN-LAX-SFO-DFW-DCA-DFW-SFO-DFW-DEN, ~8,618 mi... $300!
It's hard to really address such a multi-segment journey; it could go like greased lightning, it could be delayed by a two hour wait-for-the-gate at DFW. But anyway - 40 minutes at LAX if you arrive on time is not bad, quite doable within the same terminal. One hour changing terminals at DFW is quite doable, using the Skylink going in the right direction. IMO, it's what happens BEFORE that makes a difference, and late summer, late afternoon, things can get stacked up - or not.
Good MR, good price, good luck!

With the new DFW high-speed SkyLink system, it should only take you 15 - 20 minutes, gate to gate, to get from your arrival terminal to any other terminal at DFW. It a very impressive, efficient system - with great views from high up of the inner workings of the airport.

One hour should be more than enough unless there is an unforseen delay.
