UK resident seeking advice on US flights, please

Hi folks

As a relative newbie and a UK resident, I have the following itinerary planned in coach :

9/11 - AA 1235 : YYZ-ORD
AA 2398 : ORD-STL

9/17 - AA 1459 : STL-SEA

9/21 - AA 380 : SEA-DFW

10/1 - AA 488 : DFW - YYZ

1. the dates are pretty much set and. barring life & death issues, will not change.

2. EQM/EQS is immaterial; RDM is good.

3. This is vacation, so I'd like as much time on the ground, not in the air.

4. I will pay by non-US credit card.

5. My transat carrier is AC

6. My best price of all UK sites shows on expedia.co.uk as £480.20

My question is - are there any US-sources I can check for better price, where I can pay by non-US card.

Thanks for any assistance.

Thank you.

Yes I did - they came in at £503.00 - slightly higher than expedia.co.uk

You'd be eligible to buy a Star Alliance North American Airpass where you can buy coupons to use for your flights. Not sure if it would work out more/less than the total price you found on Expedia or not, but it's worth a shot.

Cheers.

The * Alliance schedules on UA/AC made it a 7 segment journey, which took it way out past £480.

Did you try same itinerary on expedia.ca?

try opodo.co.uk

you will have to do yyz-stl-sea-dfw and then a one way dfw-yyz, but i got it under £400. *A for for first three flights, or combination of AC and AA with AA for the return to yyz.

There is an afternoon direct flight YYZ-STL with AC which would drop it down to 6 segments.

Did you try using the 15% off discount code on AA.com for flights leaving the UK?

Did you ever look at buying an AC Open Jaw Ticket ex UK that allowed Stopovers in The Gateway city YYZ in each direction.

i.e. LHR/YYZ/STL - Open - DFW/YYZ/LHR Then you would have only needed the STL-SEA-DFW sectors locally around $280 - GBP165
