If this has been addressed somewhere else (or perhaps on this thread!) do point me in the right direction, but I have a question about the stations that the AA codeshares refer to.
I've got a DB connection from Kassel to Frankfurt as I am flying from there to DFW next week. I figured "Kassel" referred to the Kassel Hauptbahnhof but when I checked the time schedule for my departure date, I couldn't find a train that left at the time stated on my AA itinerary.
Assuming the codeshare numbers SHOULD be constant, here is my schedule:
21 SEP - Monday
LV KASSEL 737A FLT7429
AR FRANKFURT 916A
DB Bahn brings this up for that time range:
Kassel Hbf dep 07:19
Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe arr 07:23
Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe dep 07:37
Frankfurt(Main)Hbf arr 09:00
The time at the connector matches up with my time schedule. Would it be safe to say that I should take the ICE train from Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe then? And since the arrival time at Frankfurt says 9:16 am on my AA itinerary, I assume the airport is one or two stops after the hauptbahnhof?
Thanks in advance and my apologies if this is perhaps a rather newbie-level question about the DB-AA codeshare system.
EDIT: Nevermind. After checking the exact train stop in Frankfurt (Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbf) I found the correct train schedule. Just needed to dig some more.

ZMU is back!!!
For the first time since early February, I'm able to price itineraries from the US to ZMU! But, lordy, it seems like aa.com really struggles to do so, taking several minutes to pull-up prices/segments.
Also MIA since early February: ZAQ is once again bookable.
However, the third destination on the Frankfurt-Munich rail tour, QWU, is still MIA. Aa.com refuses to accept QWU or Wuerzburg as input, even though it is still listed on the AA-Bahn codeshare page.

I can't seem to find any of the DB rail destinations.
Keep in mind that you can buy a OW ticket on DB to anywhere in Germany for 29 euros so these codeshares are not really THAT great.
In the past you used to be able to get lower fares to FRA by adding the DB segment and the miles did not hurt, but now it seems that is no longer the case

A friend used to manage DB's flyrail bag transfer program between Lufthansa and DB, and I always tried to book the AA codeshare--but I could never get it to price better than DB's advance purchase fares. Maybe the lower prices were destination-specific.

Thank you for responses. Last year if you saved roundtrip 58 Euros, + get miles--made it into nicer MR.

code shares with Deutsche Bahn
Has anything happened to the code shares with Deutsche Bahn?
I tried to price a flight from ORD to FRA and then FRA-ZMU to the Munich main train station. On aa.com, the web site simply times out. I called reservations and the agent couldn't find the "flight" in her computer. I was looking for AA7446, FRA-ZMU.

Lately, I have been having trouble finding it (except ex-Europe as "Rail & Fly") on the AA sites. However ITA and non-AA booking sites find the connections without problems. I have not tried to call AA on the topic.

These Deutsche Bahn "flights" have not been available on AA.com for about two years. The AAgent should be able to find them, though - don't know why she was having trouble.

Would someone who's taken one of these AA coded trains kindly tell whether you've earned EQM or merely RDM? At the Deutsche Bahn Codeshare Alliance page it only says "Earn miles on American Airlines codeshare service operated by Deutsche Bahn." Almost surely it's EQM, but if merely RDM it hardly seems worth the trouble.
