cheapest way to get 1000 q-miles
I currently have Gold Status and I want to maintain it for next year. As of right now, I'm going to be about 1000 miles short. Is there a cheap/easy way to do this? I'm based in LA.

AS web specials also work well for this, especially with same day turns on Saturdays. This week isn't particularly good for cheapies, but many weeks, destinations departing from LAX will pop up for under $100.
