Posting of 5000 miles for Triple/Double/5000 promo
 
Has anyone received their 5000 mile bonus from the Triple/Double/5000 mile bonus offer yet? Any idea when they might be posted?

I called AAdvantage CS on this very same issue today and was told 4-6 weeks from when the promotion ended (March 31)....mid May is a long time away :(

I caled AAdvantage CS on this today. I was told it would be 6 to 8 weeks from the end of the promo, which would make it the end of May.

United has posted the 5000 mile bonus this week for those who qualified.

If we qualified during the triple miles window, does that prevent us from receiving the 5k bonus miles?

I am confused by your question. The offer was for one of three bonuses: triple miles, double miles, or 5000 miles - depending on when we qualified. I only finished my 10,000 miles in March, so I will receive 5,000 bonus miles. What about you?

My understanding is that regardless of when you qualified, you will receive a minimum of 5000 bonus miles. If you qualified in January, you will get triple bonus miles for all flights from the time you qualified through March 31. If you qualified in Feb, you'll get double bonus miles. If you qualified in March, you'll just get 5000 miles.

But if you qualfied in Jan or Feb and didn't fly any more through Mar 31, you'll also just get the minimum of 5000 bonus miles.

I qualified on February 28 and did not fly on AA in March. I got 5000 bonus miles. No punishment! ;)

My 5000 miles was posted last night also. Since I qualified in February with over 10,000 miles, I called CS and they credited my account on the spot. The agent told me the miles would be posted within 48 hrs.
