3B on ERJ's always blocked?

I read a few old threads on this, but they were...old.

It seems like 3B is always blocked on the ERJ's except at 24 hours out. Is this still a blocked seat for passengers with disabilities since it's released at 24 hours? What is the difference in blocking 3B vs. 1A? Is there any chance I can get 3B and C by calling?

Is that a row with an extra oxygen mask for lap infants?

I don't believe so. The entire BC side has an extra mask. The A side does not.

I'm actually trying to not stick my husband or myself alone in 3C with a lap infant while the other is in 1A or 3A.

If 3A and 3C are available, I'd take those. You shouldn't have trouble convincing whoever winds up in 3B to swap to an Aisle/Window seat away from a baby ;)

Maybe, except 3A isn't a bulkhead I'd sit next to a baby for a bulkhead.

That bulkhead doesn't have any extra legroom over 3a and I'd say less since you don't have a seat to put your feet under.
