Had these last night. The entire snack basket has changed.
They're not disgusting or anything. They taste fine. Nothing to write home about though, unlike the Kuko Bites on VX. Those were incredible.

Yeah, I know that this is going against the grain here, but if they're basically like a macaroon, I'd kinda like that. I was never really a fan of the Milano cookies (in the snack basket or in general). I find them dry.

This must be a sign of the decline of civilization: replacing the only true 'premium' snack in that basket with the multi-fad cookie-like snack.
I passed on the snack basket on Wednesday night's CLE-PHL and noticed I didn't see any Milanos. I chalked it up to a run on them on the inbound segment, since they quick turned a late arrival to an on-time departure - not this awful news!

I had them last night DCA-RDU and they're nothing like a macaroon. More oatmeal than coconut. They tasted OK, but weren't anything to get excited about. I'd much rather have had Milanos..

btw, Since I went GF, I lost 20 lbs - back to high school weight, no more head aches, or bloating - and I have the energy of a 20 year old.
I actually AApplaud AA for doing this. Giving people choices for those living without gluten, or who do have celiac, is a step in the right direction, IMHO.
Cheers.

So, what was wrong with the cookies that AA served for years prior to the merger? Or is this just change for the sake of justifying someone's job like most of the rest of the meal service changes were?

How is this the "exclusive" cookie on AA if the warmed on board cookies are still being served? Seems like this lame company is trying to grab at any straws at PR as possible?
