ARCHIVE: NRT / Tokyo Narita Admirals Club & oneworld Lounges
(I tried to get the actual pics to post, but only the links came up... any suggestions, PM me and I'll try again.)
Had an opportunity to sample some of the NRT T2 lounges on a recent swing through Tokyo. Given that AA is new to T2, I wanted to start a guide to the lounges. None of the lounges gave me any hassle upon entry, although the JAL Sakura Annex receptionist did ‘remind’ me that I could use the Admirals Club.
Overview:
NRT Terminal 2 currently has 6 lounges available to qualified OneWorld members, with an 7th to open this summer (all lounges are airside).
Here’s the rundown:
T2 (Main):
- Admirals Club
- Cathay Pacific Lounge
- JAL Lounge
- Sakura Lounge Annex (JAL)
- JAL Lounge (to open in July 2007)
T2 (Satellite)
- First Class and JAL Global Club Lounge
- Satellite Sakura Lounge

In this post, I will review the Admirals Club, Cathay Pacific Lounge and Sakura Lounge Annex. I was in the JAL Lounge on a previous trip, but it was closed this time, so I won’t report on it. Hopefully others can add to this, or feel free to PM me with some details on the other lounges and I can add.

Hmm.. what will the new JAL lounge have? Will it be similar to the NH lounge in T1?
Thanks again for the pictures. Looks like the AC and the CX lounge are better than the JL ones, for now...

Thank you for the reviews, especially the notes on the views from the lounges. A good view at NRT makes up for a lot of other negative aspects.

Nice report thanks!!!
The only forum that I know of where you can post photos is in the Trip
Report section. There's a separate icon that comes up in the tool bar above ^that allows you to do it. The photos you post must already be hosted on a website elsewhere (don't know the techie name for doing that).

It's amazing what a difference the AA and CX lounges are. I'd have to say that the AA lounge was probably one of the worst lounges I visit, so it's nice to see the new one. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the detailed descriptions and photos. We will be traveling through Narita soon and your report really helps plan the time there.

Sorry, but I'm totally dense. We're flying into NRT on AA, have a three hour layover, and then on to BKK on JL. We're both Emerald and flying first. Which of the above lounges will we have access to airside? It seems to me that we should be able to access all of them, but I'm having trouble cramming through the links.
Thanks,
Mike
