That's great of you to do that, but generally we also don't bump threads that are more than 2 years old. But then again, other than the Newbie Lounge, I don't know if there is a suitable place to ask a question on overhead bins (do we have a non seat related 763 thread?)
Anyway, the above posters are correct. The side bins are larger and will accommodate a standard rollaboard. The ones in the center are much smaller and will fit something maybe a foot wide in its smallest dimension.
Of course, you do not need to use the bins directly over you. Across the aisle from you is just fine. But not generally not 20 seats away from you.
