AA Web says Y class (I think), but AA says its not

On the AA web site my last trip shows the following line:
AMERICAN AIRLINES 108 Y BOS LHR

Does this mean it's a Y class? I ask because AA says it wasn't. If it was then I get bonus miles for completing a transatlantic flight.

I am sure you can answer this questions better than anyone else. Just ask yourself, "did I pay $2800+ for that trans-Atlantic ticket?" If the answer is anything else, your ticket is likely to be anything else other than Y.

Like most airlines, AA doesn't bother listing the actual fare class. If it's coach, the web site list "Y" even if it's an L-fare.
