I have the following options NRT-ORD at Easter in First.
  • Madeira Chicken with Green Linguini
Sautéed chicken breast and sundried tomato accented by Madeira wine sauce, served with sautéed mixed mushrooms, green beans and carrots and linguini in basil cream sauce
  • Beef Fillet with Dijon Sauce
Grilled tenderloin of beef complemented by Dijon mustard sauce, parsley mashed potatoes, sautéed broccoli, carrot and radish
  • Traditional Japanese Meal
Grilled Spanish mackerel saikyo yaki, stewed beef koh shu-ni style with soy and wine sauce, boiled bamboo shoot, green nanohana, carrot flower sakura and water chestnut
  • Penne Pasta
With puttanesca sauce and vegetable medley
  • Lobster Risotto
With tomato lobster sauce and fresh parsley
For something different I am tending to the "Traditional Japanese Meal". Do any have more experience/suggestions?[list]

The Japanese meal leaving Japan is excellent and far better and more interesting than the typical beef/chicken/fish/pasta options. This is from NRT-LAX this week:

On today's AA flight ICN-DFW in business class, meal choices were:

Whole Wheat Penne Pasta with sauce and vegetable medley
Whole wheat penne pasta with arrabiata sauce and medley of asparagus, carrots, yellow peppers, and red onions

Grilled Fillet of Beef
Enhanced by red wine sauce

Mushroom Stuffed Chicken
With garlic mashed potatoes and diced roasted pumpkin

Korean Bibimbap

I had the chicken and was very happy with my choice.

I selected a prearrival snack of barbecue prawns served chilled with spinach and couscous, along with a side salad (that wasn't on the menu so they must have had extra). The other choice was a noodle bowl with a salad.

Source of Beef JFK-EZE-JFK?

Does anyone know if they load the meals in BA or NYC? Previous poster said the steak from EZE-MIA was awful. Any comments on JFK-EZE-JFK quality meals (particularly steak) in J? Any additional comments about J service/flight/meals/seats (I understand they are angled, yuk!) appreciated also.
Thanks.

MIA-SXM
Lunch was a choice of a Chicken & Beet Salad or Cajun Shrimp. I went with the shrimp knowing that there would only be three small shrimp on the plate.

SXM-MIA
I forget the two choices, but I had already pre-ordered the Beef Teriyaki. The meat had what can best be described as a urine odor coming from what I assume was the sauce. Disgusting.

The LIM-DFW meal should be very similar to the LIM-MIA menu I posted here from last year. Essentially a quick international late night supper service followed by juices/breads prior to landing.
