Definitely a 1st world problem. You can always bring 3 1oz miniatures through security of you alc of choice, pour those into a free soft drink. And use the extra 0.4oz for your breath spray.

(Based in LA) I have faced that difficulty in the past and let me tell you it's a little embarrassing when you're told, "Sir, it's 5:45am...I can't serve you." (OP slinks back to chair)

Yes, they do. Only that they only brought it out at 6am (@LAX). Not one minute earlier. I wanted my coffee spiced with some one particularly freezing December morning at LAX after coming in from a sleepless redeye from Hawaii. Pretty embarassing situation....
